I don’t know about you but I love seeing the first signs of spring giving me hope that the cold months are nearly over. Bright yellow daffodils, catkins on the trees, the first primroses flowering along the lanes.
I’ve just started thinking about Mothers Day and wanted to share some of the lovely treats we have to offer in Purbeck.
My perfect mothers day would probably consist of the simple things in life like a lovely lie in with a cup of tea, a handmade card, a walk along Studland beach followed by lunch or cream tea somewhere special!
Other lovely treats from Purbeck you might wish to hint at in coming weeks…
Lovely places to visit or for a family walk - Arne nature reserve, Blue Pool, Studland Beach, Swanage and the pier, the Purbeck Hills and coast path.
Lovely places for a relaxed lunch or bite to eat - The Salt Pig in Wareham and Swanage, The Pig on the Beach at Studland, The Old Granary on Wareham quay or maybe a cream tea at Holme for gardens.
Perfect gifts from Wareham - of course I cant leave out a family photography gift voucher for Dorset Days. Maybe a unique and special piece of jewellery from the lovely Amy at Heirlooms Jewellery in Wareham or maybe pop over the road and call into Purbeck Living for gorgeous home accessories.
I’d love to know what would make your Mothers Day in Dorset perfect?
